Whenever I have an essay to write I always write my ideas out on paper. There are many different methods and approaches to this but what I’ve been doing and has been beneficial to me was writing key points. I write the key points for the source(s), in this case it is our two sources “Is Art a Waste of Time?” and the TED talk we chose which was “How Can Public Art Projects Transform Rough Neighborhoods?”. I took everything I found important or useful whether it was an idea I translated into my own words or direct quotes, really I took information that I thought would be beneficial in me successfully completing this essay. I also write down some key details that both sources shared. These may be sort of broad but it gives me an idea to build off of when writing. In my essay, I will be talkingabout how I believe art is very important in a community or just life in general.
